Last updated: June 2026. This policy explains what information crscalculator.org collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. We have built this site to need as little of your data as possible.

The short version

The CRS calculator runs entirely in your browser. The answers you type into it — your age, education, language scores and so on — are processed on your device to compute your score and are not transmitted to us or stored on our servers. We do not require you to register or provide your name or email to use the tools.

Information we collect

Information you choose to give us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you put in your message, and we use it only to respond.

Automatically collected technical data. Like most websites, our hosting and analytics may record standard technical information such as your approximate region, browser type, device type, pages visited and referring page. This is used to understand general traffic patterns and keep the site working. It does not identify you personally.

Calculator inputs. The values you enter into the calculator and CLB converter stay in your browser session. We do not save them to an account or a database.

Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We and our partners may use them to remember preferences, measure traffic, and — where advertising is shown — to deliver and measure ads. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings; blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the site work.

Emails you send us are kept only as long as needed to handle your enquiry. Aggregated technical and analytics data may be retained in summary form. Calculator inputs are not retained at all once you leave or refresh the page.

Children's privacy

This site is intended for adults researching immigration and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. Because we hold very little personal data, most requests relate to emails you have sent us. Contact us to exercise any of these rights.

International visitors

Our audience is global. By using the site you understand that any limited data described here may be processed in the countries where our hosting and service providers operate, with appropriate safeguards.
